Unleashed is a series of plastic statues featuring Star Wars characters. The line's being going on for a few years, but has really only picked up steam within the last year or so.

There're some really awesome ones out now, like Bossk.

i'm not sure which would make him the batter base figure:
A storm shadow or snake eyes?

We're sooner going to see Unleashed-style GI Joe figures, I think.
At the Joe convention this past July in Orlando, Hasbro reps already had a Storm Shadow Unleashed figure on display at the roundtable discussion with fans... no photography was allowed.
I don't know the timetable for the Unleashed releases, but odds are we'll see those before a regular 6" line.
Just wish Hasbro would throw old skool Joe fans a bone and put out a line of Joes similar to the Vintage Star Wars stuff out now, where "old" characters are produced with modern sculpting and articulation... y'know, without the $10 price tag.
While it's true that you could use Deadpool to start a Storm Shadow, I'd personally go with Snake Eyes, since he would require very minor tweaks.
ok, thanks. So, about the joe unleashed figs;
IF they were to be put into production theyd have no POA correct?
Yeah, that's correct.
Hasbro focuses on the sculpt and detail rather than adding articulation. They're also in a larger, 6"-7" scale, pre-posed and in a diorama, of sorts.
They're actually really cool... have a few of the Star Wars Unleashed, and they're nice, inexpensive statues. I don't really plan on having a huge collection of them, since my money primarily goes into figures, but they're neat little collectibles nonetheless.
